Meet Lauren Winter, founder and principal designer of Saltbox Design Co. With a deep love for creative problem-solving, millwork details, and turning ideas into reality, Lauren approaches every project with both intention and practicality.

To her, great design is about creating homes that feel tailored to the people living in them. Her work has earned recognition from Colorado Home & Lifestyle’s 5 Under 40 and 5280 Homes’ Top Kitchen of 2022. And when the workweek wraps up, she’ll never turn down guacamole or a margarita, preferably with extra salt on the rim.

With a background in graphic design, and a passion for artwork, Rachel brings a keen eye for creating inviting and stylish interiors that captivate.

Senior Designer

JoLeigh brings a seasoned eye and a calm confidence to every project. She’s an excellent communicator who believes great design starts with listening—and thrives on solving the puzzle of how a space should truly function. From complex floor plans to the finishing details, she has a knack for making spaces work beautifully for the people who live (and work) in them.

Meet Zaide, our drafting wizard who brings precision and expertise to every project. With mastery of all drafting technologies, she ensures our design materials are top-notch. Beyond her technical skills, she’s got a wicked sense of humor, a deep love for soccer, and a portfolio that ranges from sports complexes to birdhouses—because no project is too big or too small for her creativity!

Lotta brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to the Saltbox team. With a background in project coordination and a passion for interior design, she enjoys supporting each phase of a project — from sourcing and organizing selections to assisting with drawings and presentations.
