This full main-floor remodel transformed a dated 1990s home into an open, functional, family-friendly space. The original layout included a wall dividing the kitchen and living room, creating a disconnected flow and limiting the homeowners’ ability to entertain. By removing the wall and opening up the floor plan, we created a bright, cohesive main level with improved sightlines and natural light.

As part of the renovation, we reconfigured the main-floor bedroom and bathroom into a dedicated home office and a stylish new powder bath—spaces that better fit the needs of a modern family of four. We also expanded the laundry room to increase functionality, adding storage solutions that make everyday routines easier.

This remodel also introduced a hardworking drop zone and significantly increased pantry storage, giving the family practical organization that supports busy schedules. Because the homeowners value color and warmth, we intentionally incorporated pops of color and subtle traditional design elements to keep the home feeling cozy, inviting, and far from boring.
