Superior Main Floor Remodel & Kitchen Renovation | Brick House

This full main-floor remodel in Superior, Colorado transformed a dated 1990s home into an open, functional, family-friendly space. The original layout included a wall dividing the kitchen and living room, limiting natural light and creating a disconnected flow for everyday living and entertaining. By removing the wall and opening up the floor plan, the main level now feels bright, cohesive, and much better suited for modern family life.

As part of the renovation, we reconfigured the existing main-floor bedroom and bathroom into a dedicated home office and a stylish new powder bathroom—spaces that better support the needs of this busy family of four. We also expanded the laundry room and introduced additional storage solutions to improve day-to-day functionality throughout the home.

The remodel included a hardworking drop zone and significantly expanded pantry storage, helping the home feel more organized and efficient without sacrificing warmth or personality. Because the homeowners gravitate toward color and layered interiors, we incorporated subtle traditional details, warm wood tones, and thoughtful pops of color to create a home that feels inviting, timeless, and far from builder-grade.
